This policy is provided by Inform Sales Ltd (Company No. SC866911), a limited company registered in Scotland, United Kingdom, with its registered office at Stewarts Shed 1, Midmar, Inverurie, Scotland, AB51 7NJ. You can reach us at hello@informsales.co.uk.

1. Who we are

Inform Sales Ltd is the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website and during client engagements. Our contact details are listed at the top of this page.

2. What personal data we collect

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, company name (optional), service of interest, message, and timestamp.
  • Booking data: information you provide when scheduling a call via Cal.com.
  • Payment data: when you pay by card, card details are entered directly with Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only the last 4 digits, billing name, and billing address for our records.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and basic usage analytics. We do not use invasive third-party trackers.

3. Why we use your data (lawful basis under UK GDPR)

  • To respond to your enquiry — based on your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
  • To deliver services you have purchased — based on the performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations — based on legal obligation.
  • To protect the website from abuse — based on our legitimate interest in site security.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the business. Each provider is contractually bound to protect your information and to process it only on our instructions. These currently include:

  • Supabase — stores contact form submissions.
  • Stripe Payments UK Ltd — processes card payments.
  • Revolut Business — our business banking provider.
  • Vercel Inc. — hosts this website.
  • Cal.com — processes discovery call bookings.

5. International transfers

Some providers listed above may process data outside the UK / EEA. Where this happens, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office to protect your data.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months from last contact.
  • Client records and invoices: 6 years, as required by UK tax law.
  • Technical / server logs: typically 30–90 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or erasure, object to or restrict our processing, request portability of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

This website uses a minimal set of first-party cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (e.g. session management). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to databases, and regular reviews of our access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest version.
